Toad is our newest addition, she is half Boston Terrier and half Chihuahua, we expect her to finish the size of a Boston Terrier as she is getting big. Toad at 6 months weighed in at 14lbs and stands 13inchestall. Toad was born in May 2005, her mom was a typical wild gamey Boston Terrier and her dad was a 7lb Chihuahua.

We traveled 7 hours one way while on summer vacation for 2 weeks to get this little girl, I had only seen pictures of her and in each photo she was kicking her brothers butt or just running completely wild, she had this sparkle in her eye and I said I got to go get this little dog she is prefect for our home. She fit right in while on vacation she never left our boundary area for the entire 2 weeks and was never caged or tied, she swam with my daughter no need to bribe she was just up to everything and anything.

I knew right away Toad was the little big dog I was looking for. She had the traits I loved in the Boston in a more eye pleasing package. Toad is great with the kids and she thinks every kid she sees are her kids. Toad has very pronounced prey and fight drives, she has began some hunting and will start on groundhogs come spring.

Toad at 6 months already knows many commands including; sit, here, dance, up, off, fuss, phooey, retrieve, and has started her personal protection work and is way beyond my greatest expectations for any dog breed. We also are working towards having Toad star in some movies and commercials. Toad already has one booked event to star in!!!

Toad is working hard in training and will be the first Irondog title holder for a her size! She will title in Irondog level 5 and add some weight pull titles before 2006 is half over. She has began all her training and is doing great for these events. The people that have helped us in her recent training think she is just the bomb, her wild and outgoing character is loved by everyone she meets.
